Makes: 20 Dosas
Ingredients:
Urad Dal /Minappappu: 1 cup
Rice (I use Sonamasori) : 2 cups
Methi seeds : 1/2 tsp
Method:
Put all the ingredients in a bowl, wash them and soak them for 5-6 hours. Blend it in a wet grinder or blender till a very smooth and foamy batter. Keep adding little bit of water as needed.
For best results, let the batter rest for at least 5-6 hours before making dosas. Do not add salt until ready to use the batter.
