I try a variety of recipes and when I served this particular one, my husband said it reminded him the taste from Amudarlanka which is near Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. He spent his childhood there. Hence, the name to the recipe. Hope all of you will like the taste of this recipe too. Please let me know when you try it.

Serves :2-3
Ingredients:
Chicken with bones : 500 gms
Onion: 1 chopped
Tomato: 1 chopped
Ginger garlic paste: 1 tbsp
Turmeric: 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder: 2 tsp
Coriander cumin powder: 1 tsp
Dry coconut powder: 2 tsp
Garam masala: 1 tbsp
Cashews: 4 powdered
Salt to taste
Oil: 5 tbsp
Method:
Heat oil in a pan and add onions and turmeric. Sauté until the onions are translucent and add Ginger garlic paste. Sauté for 30 seconds and add chicken. Fry on medium hi heat for 5-6 minutes and put the lid on lowering the heat to medium. Cook for 10 minutes. Add tomatos and all the spices, mix well. Cook until the gravy is thick and coated to the chicken. This should take about 10 minutes. Turn off the heat, add cashew powder and serve hot with rice or as a snack.
