Andhra Sanna Karapusa/Sev

Preparation Time: 5 minutes 
Cook Time: 15 minutes 
Makes : 4 big rounds.


Gram Flour/Senagapindi: 1 cup (240ml)
Rice Flour: 1/4 cup
Ajwain/Vaamu: 1/2 tsp 
Red chili powder: 1/2 tsp 
Salt to taste 
Butter: 2 tbsp
Water : 100 ml


Mix all the ingredients. The dough is going to be tight, but that's how we need it. 
Heat oil for deep frying, take your sev mould and grease the inside of it. 
Place the dough in the mould and press it into the oil. Let it fry for 2-3 minutes until it turns golden brown. 
Take them out, and store in an air tight container.
