Paneer 65


Paneer 65 is a quick starter or a snack. It's simple to make yet great tasting. Will quickly become a favorite for all ages.

The recipe is an Indo-Chinese recipe, a veggie version of Chicken 65.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes 
Cook Time: 15 minutes 
Serves : 2-3

Ingredients:

For marinate:
Paneer/Indian cottage cheese: 300 gms
Corn starch: 1/4 cup
All purpose flour: 1/2 cup 
Garam masala: 1 tbsp 
Kashmiri chili powder/red chili powder: 1.5 tsp 
Curd/yogurt: 3 tbsp
Lemon juice: 1/2 tsp 
Soy sauce: 1 tsp 
Salt to taste

Other:
Onion : 1 cut in half and sliced thickly
Green chilies: 3 slit 
Curry leaves: 4
Ginger garlic paste: 1/2 tsp 
Chili paste : 1/2 tsp 

Method:

Cut the paneer into bite size pieces in your desired shape.
Take all ingredients listed under for marinate and mix well. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Heat oil for deep frying and fry paneer till golden brown.
Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan and add curry leaves, fry for 30 seconds and add green chilies, ginger garlic paste and onions fry for 2 minutes. Add chili paste and mix well, add fried paneer and toss well. Turn off the stove.
Serve hot with onion rings and lemon wedges.
