Ginger Chicken

Ginger Chicken is an Indo-Chinese dish. This is a real simple restaurant style dish. Family loved the taste of this Chicken.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes 
Cook Time: 20 minutes 
Serves: 2-3

Ingredients:

To Marinate:
Chicken: 500 gms
Soy sauce: 1 tbsp 
Vinegar: 1 tsp 
All purpose flour: 2 tbsp 
Corn starch: 1 tbsp 
Salt to taste 

Others:
Onion: 1 chopped finely 
Green chilies: 4 chopped finely 
Ginger: 2 tbsp chopped finely 
Ginger garlic paste: 1 tbsp 
Curry leaves: 1 sprig 
Green onions: 2 chopped finely 
Cilantro/coriander leaves: 1/4 cup chopped 
Ground pepper: 1 tsp 

Method:
Take all ingredients listed under for marinate and mix well. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
Heat oil for deep frying and fry the chicken till they turn golden brown.
Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan, add ginger and curry leaves and fry for 30 seconds. Add Ginger garlic paste and fry for 1 minute. Add onion, salt and green chilies and fry for 2 minutes on high heat. Add fried chicken, pepper, cilantro, mix well and fry for 2 minutes. Turn off the stove.

Garnish with green onions and serve hot with noodles or white rice.
