Peanut and Coconut Chutney for Tiffins

Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Serves : 2

Ingredients :

Peanuts (dry roasted) : 1/4 cup
Fresh coconut shredded : 3 tbsp 
Green Chilies : 3
Oil : 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Lemon juice : 1/2 tsp

For Tempering:

Urad dal/ minappa pappu : 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds/ aavalu : 1/2 tsp
Cumin/Jeera : 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves : 1 sprig

Method

Heat oil in a small pan and fry the slit green chilies for 2 minutes.
Take peanuts, coconut, chilies and salt in a blender add 5-6 tbsp of water. Add lemon juice and mix well.
Heat oil in a small pan again and add all ingredients under tempering and fry for 2 minutes. Add this into the chutney and mix well.
Serve with any tiffin like idly, dosa or any other South Indian Tiffins.
