So, here is another one of those dishes I tried with simple variation to the regular chili. This one is made with ground chicken.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 6-8 hours
Serves : 4-5
Ingredients:
Ground Chicken: 450 gms /1 lb
Chicken broth: 2 cups
Kidney beans: 1 can
Cannellini beans : 1 can
Red chili powder: 2 teaspoons
Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
Garlic: 2 cloves
Dry red chilies: 2
Ground cinnamon: 1/2 teaspoon
Oregano: 1/2 teaspoon
Sun dried tomatoes: 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Method:
Wash and drain the beans.
Mix all the ingredients in the slow cooker and set it to 6-8 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high.
Just before Serving, add 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder for the color and serve hot with some corn bread.
