Egg Bajji

Egg Bajji is a simple evening snack or an appetizer. With basic ingredients, it's easy to make but tastes crispy from the outside and soft on the inside.
The Bajji can be made with either All Purpose flour or Gram Flour. Both tastes good with the egg.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 2 minutes per batch
Serves: 3-4

Ingredients:
Eggs : 6 boiled and cut in half
All purpose flour/Maida : 1 cup
Corn Flour/Starch : 2 tablespoons
Red chili powder: 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste: 1 tablespoon
Turmeric: 1/2 teaspoon
Ground black pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
Baking Soda: A pinch
Salt to taste
Water : 200 ml

Method:

Mix all ingredients listed except eggs to make a smooth batter. Make sure there are no lumps.
Heat oil for deep frying, dip the egg pieces in the batter, coat well and gently drop them into the oil. Fry until they turn golden brown on both sides. It should take a minute or less on each side.
Drain them onto a paper towel.
Serve hot with ketchup or hot sauce.
