Boondi Laddu

Boondi Laddu is Authentic Andhra Sweet. My grandma used to make these laddu's often as me and my sister loves them. 
So, here is the recipe.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes 
Cook Time: 30 minutes (3minutes per batch)
Makes: 20

To make the batter
Gram flour/Senagapindi/Besan: 2 cups 
Rice Flour/Biyyappindi: 1/4 cup 
Water: 1 and 1/4 cups

For syrup:
Sugar: 2 cups 
Water : 1/2 cup 
Elachi/green cardamom: 4 powdered 


Mix all the dry ingredients for batter and add slowly add water so no lumps are formed.
Heat oil for deep frying and take a laddle with big holes and pour the batter over it on top of oil to make boondi. Fry for 3 minutes and take them in a laddle to drain. Continue the process till all the batter is done.
Make the syrup ready by mixing the ingredients listed above and bring it to a boil. 
Add the boondi to the syrup and mix well.
Let it cool, take a handful of the boondi and press it tight to make a laddu.
