Brownie Cookies

My daughter and my husband loves the crispy edges of the brownies. So, I thought of baking these cookies with brownie flavor and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My experiment worked out really well. My kids and their friends loved them.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Bake Time: 13 minutes
Makes : 36

Ingredients:

All purpose Flour : 2 1/2 cups
Cocoa powder: 1/4 cup
Baking milk chocolate or unsweetened chocolate : 4 oz
Butter : 2 sticks or 8oz at room temperature
Sugar : 1 3/4 cup
Eggs : 3 large
Butter scotch essence : 1 tablespoon
Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
Salt : 1/2 teaspoon
Powdered sugar : for dusting

Method:

Take the softened butter and sugar, beat well.
Take the chocolate in a microwave and melt it for 1 minute. Cool it off for 3 minutes.
Add the chocolate slowly and beat well. Add 1 egg at a time and beat until a smooth mixture is formed.
Add all the dry ingredients slowly except the powdered sugar and beat into a soft dough.
Heat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Scoop a tablespoon of dough onto a baking sheet.
Bake for 13 minutes per batch.
Take the cookies onto a cooling rack and dust sugar powder.
Serve warm with some milk.
