Apple Fig Bake

I planned a Thanksgiving meal and wanted to bake a Pumpkin pie, later learned the hard way that Pumpins that I got are not great for baking. So, I started looking for fruits where I can bake a quick dessert. I had apples and figs so, ended up using them. My friends and kids friends loved it.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Bake Time : 25 minutes
Serves :6-8

Ingredients:

Apples 🍎: 4 large cored and sliced
Figs : 8 slices
Golden raisins: 1/4 cup
Brown sugar : 3 tablespoons
White sugar : 3 tablespoons
Cinnamon powder: 1 teaspoon
Vanilla extract: 2 drops

Method:

Pre heat the oven at 350 degree Fahrenheit.
Arrange the apple and fig slices in a baking pan, add rest of the ingredients and place the pan in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
Take the dish out and mix everything once and bake again for 10 more minutes.
Take it out of the oven and serve hot or warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
