chicken Alfredo is an Italian dish that can be served as a main entree by itself or with pasta. The dish is really easy to make with simple ingredients.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Bake Time : 10 minutes + 20 minutes
Serves : 4
Ingredients:
Boneless and skinless Chicken: 4 breast or thigh pieces
Italian Seasoning: 2 teaspoons
Ground Pepper: 2 teaspoons
Salt to taste
Sun dried red bell peppers : To garnish
Olive oil : 4 tablespoons
Alfredo Sauce:
Whipping cream: 2 cups
Grated Parmesan cheese : 1 1/2 cups
Method:
Pre heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Add oil in a oven proof pan, lay the chicken pieces and add the seasoning.
Bake them for 10 minutes.
In meanwhile, heat whipping cream and bring it to a boil. Add Parmesan cheese and cook for 3 minutes stirring continuously. Turn off the stove.
Take the chicken pieces and place them in a baking dish, pour sauce over and garnish with red bell peppers.
Bake again for 20 minutes at 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
Serve immediately as is with some bread or with pasta.
